Poetry from afar is collection of art and poetry giving us parts to the main theme our poet's life.Each painting opening up a memory or thought . Some that lead to every star in the sky and a few that linger in most peoples lives.This journey of ups and downs does have a beautiful ending though. It introduces his thoughts on pain and leads to the gift everyone seeks. Love

This book is a map of emotions
Each road leading to the center of his humble soul and the love of his beautiful wife.
Sometimes the only thing we can do in an unpredictable world is write about it and share. This is poetry from afar.

After receiving this beautiful book, I can say that the quality of the book is outstanding and I highly recommend it.
The book is really lovely, beautifully presented, beautifully designed and has the feel of a combined art and poetry anthology. Jim uses the concept of the "poetic image" as an alien medium (painting, visual art) at the heart of his verbal expression.
The quotes and artwork are thoughtfully and beautifully positioned on each page.
I like the book’s cover art. It awakens in me the feeling of constant life changes and transition from one cycle of transformation into another, falling into emotional complexities in between.
And indeed, Jim’s poetry is a visual imagery of constant movement, poetic energy and richness and curious effect.
Jim has done a tremendous work in approaching different themes with the poems he created - love as the main theme.
To make a difference between his previous books “Travel”, which was a deep, touching, and heartbreaking poetic experience of a life journey, “Poetry from afar” reveals a state of well-being; positivity, and happiness transmitted through the content, hope for a brighter future transcending through time and through the art.
Time does not only shape one idea that is created in the human mind but also the various ideas that are expressed in written form throughout the book.
His thoughts as the number one poet, his unique style of pairing thoughts and inspirational art with poetry really reflect what he says is genius in his dreams, and a glimpse of who lives in his soul.

“Poetry from afar" is a book full of powerful, memorable poems that stay with readers like a friend for a long time. Some of the poems, such as "It's jus' me", and "That soul" portray the poet life experience with such clarity and precision that the others like "Submission" and “Hope “offer solace not by denying the darkness, but by facing it and finding moments of light in the darkness.
It’s one of the most inventive collections of poetry I've come across in recent time and it’s no surprise that it was rated a number one poetry book.
Great poets like Jim help us find our own voice, and express our own ideas and dreams.
The poems in his book are best enjoyed for the mood and feelings they evoke, because of their rich expressions and masterful control. I highly recommend you to get your copy and enjoy the magic of the poetry senses and the art of imaginary in the “Poetry from afar”.

I’m bringing it with me everywhere. It’s so full of honesty and thoughtfulness that it will take me a while to get though it . Dense with provocative artwork and the writers thoughts as well. I feel like I will go back to it many times as there is so much beauty in here .
